K-1 Level Striking.....
OH MY GAWD!!! I really have no idea how Ben Edwards survived that Overhand Right. I'm still a neophyte when it comes to K-1, but I think I might have to watch more.
You can speak for my rape fantasies. Hell, you can even draw pictures or script an erotic skit.
Everyone is saying how good Edwards is, but honestly, he's not on the level of Schilt, or even Spong.
Gokhan Saki might make that huge scar on Overeem's face part of a matching set. He's so fast and accurate. Its like if Anderson Silva was way way better at Muay Thai and TKD. Oh, and way bigger and faster.

Overeem's looking good, but you can't really use him as a meter stick for K-1 striking. He's 1-1 against Badr, both fights were KO's. He's beat a 39 year old Aerts, by decision. He loss a close decision to Remy Bonjasky, in Bonjasky's 86th professional fight. Overall, he's a top tier guy, but not even close to being the most technical or athletic fighter.
With that said, what Alistair is doing is amazing. I rate him up there with the best two-sport athletes ever. Although he began a grappler, he's beaten K-1 greats and is clearly a top 5 HW in MMA.
What Overeem is doing is like a good tennis player turning to a top pro baseball player, then becoming a top cricket player. While still playing baseball. Its amazing.
Overeem is a poor man's C.B. Fry. You can take that to the bank, my friends. But please wait until like Wednesday.. maybe even Thursday. I'm not really sure when I'll get paid, and, well, you know how these things go.
P.S. I'm going to go beat Bobby Lashley's ass in EA MMA with Overeem a few times. I intentionally fought to decision the last time I played and won 50-36. Yes, I had four 10-7 rounds.
